What You Can Do
We have been asked a number of times what people can do to help. There are many things you can do, none of them difficult, but any of which would be helpful.

Join Us!
Join the TCDA, and help us to work towards achieving Traralgon's potential. You'll be kept up-to-date on what's going on in town - regarding Council, major municipal developments, parking, events we hold, water, and many other issues affecting residents. It's quick and easy to do!

A Few Suggestions
First, keep up with the local news. It's the best way to keep an eye on what your local Council is doing, and how it will affect you and your neighbours.

Attend Council Meetings. Get to know your Councillors, and how Council operates. This should give you an idea of the way Traralgon is being represented within Latrobe City. There is time for a cuppa with the Councillors after the public portion of Council meetings has concluded.

Talk to your friends and neighbours about what you see, and encourage them to get involved, too.

Write letters!
Letter writing is important! It doesn't have to be long - in fact, short and succinct is always better than long and rambling. Shorter letters have a better chance of being read by the recipient, or published in your local paper, if that's your intention. So if you've got something on your mind, either email it, or jot it down and mail it the old fashioned way. Remember, griping at home to your partner achieves little. It's up to you to tell the pollies or the press how you feel or what you want, or else they're never going to know. So, write that letter! You'll feel better! J
